    Last day @ TNS

Even until now...I stll feel very strange... seems it is not true that i am leaving... and i am sure I will be back and see all of my lovely colleagues soon.

Thanks Andrew for your golf gifts... the colorful balls are so lovely... the little bag is very useful as i hate to put the ball inside my trousers pockets...

Thanks Lau Wah, Yobbie and Physis... the kittly pillow is such my favourite!

Thanks for everyone who signed my giant leaving card ... i can read your blessing (and complaints of my noisy-ness :P) through the words!

I did not cry in front of you!! but when i read the words you guys written...

    Thank you Rose

    Dear colleagues (and friends),

It is really a difficult decision for me to leave TNS – after all, I have spent 3.5 years here, and have witnessed the growth of the company from 70 people to ~160 people.  TNS is like a family to me, and I feel that I was born here, and grew up here – professionally.  Nevertheless, after all, I think maybe I have grown up to be a teenager now, and its time for me to do something different at the client side now. Nevertheless, I shall never forget my important years here in TNS, and I really enjoy working with every one of you I have worked with, and would like to say thanks to all of you for bearing my weakness, bluntness, and hurried-ness.

I have to say thanks to Wander – you are a kind “father”; “Morning, boys and girls” always come up to my mind even nowadays…

Wade and Thomas – you are great bosses and make our company difference from an ordinary work place!

Choi-I, thanks for being so understanding and considerate at many of the critical moments.

Thank you very much to Andrew – you are the greatest team leader (at least to me).  You are so kind, sincere, professional and smart…. funny (and surprised us sometimes)… all I can say is… over the past year at Team 6, it was the most enjoyable time to me working for you and I learnt and grow a lot from your guidance. You are the best!

Thanks Nicole and Ellen – you two have been the most wonderful and trusting mentors, and I feel so lucky that I have the chance to work with you.

IRC (ex- Team 6) team mates – you guys are soooo lovely!  I will not forget the laughs we have at the office ~ the most important thing to me is to enjoy your work and the colleagues around me… You can escape from my “loud” voice from now on… (but I am sure we will meet again! hahahaha)

Lau Wah you are my dearest buddy … from we were not working in the same teams (2004), then Team 2 together (late 2004 to 2005), separated (2005?), and them come together again (since late 2006)… I will never forget the late hours we have been working together, the funs we have inside and outside office….

Thanks a lot of colleagues I have worked with … Neel is another patient teacher and friend of mine… Christine helps me a lot on my projects… Tom and Andy are great DPs who share many of my burdens…. Monet is always so helpful… May Leung has helped me a lot of MB projects…  Sue, many thanks for being my sister and mom, we will definitely meet on golf course!  There are too many people I want to thank and so please forgive me if you are not mentioned here…

I am already missing you all.

To my family at TNS, all the best and take care.

Wish you laugh like the kids always!

Here is me and a clean baby sheep…

Hope our paths cross someday soon!

    Cheers,

    Dear All,

Sad to say that today is Rose Yau ’s last day at TNS. Rose has been with us now for 3.5 years, and during that time has grown from a shy, quiet, young girl into…well…Rose (actually I can’t imagine that she’s ever been shy or quiet...)

She has most certainly grown into one of the most skilled project managers we have, who works well across all departments, meets her budgets and timelines, and all while managing some very challenging clients. It is a tribute to her that her work features in a case study used in MCP project management ‘best practices’ material.

She has also made a huge contribution to TNS Hong Kong and the IRC team through her work with the Social Committee and her sheer enthusiasm and friendliness. Dragon-boating, yoga, badminton, bowling…you name it; whatever TNS has done, Rose has turned her hand to.

Rose has decided to move on to a client-side role and leaves us with our very best wishes for her future.

I hope you will be able to spare a few minutes before the end of the day to drop by and give her your best regards, good wishes, big kisses…whatever you choose to send her on her way to her new career!!

    Thanks
